once upon a dream [private, night 8/12]

another sleepless night. haro is laying on the deck of his ship, looking up at the stars.

He smells his wife on the breeze before he sees her. That same scent. It hasn't changed in all the years. She sang softly, appearing to be calling to the storm that was in the distance. That storm was both real and so symbolic. Those ocean eyes are on it, watching it in the distance. She waits for his words, standing still as a statue, and dressed as she is, she almost resembles one of the now crumbling forms that stood in Athens.

haro laid there for a moment, simply taking in the voice hed missed as she sings. after afew moments, he comes to her, wrapping his arms around her. "good evening, my dear" he says softly, placing a kiss on her cheek.

Her arms wrapped around him in a return of the embrace. "Evening, koishii." She didn't need to say that she'd missed him. There wasn't a time that she didn't. She kissed his cheek, and clung tighter. Something is obviously on his wife's mind. And for the first time since he can remember, she couldn't find the words to express herself. It didn't bode well, whatsoever.

haro rubbed his cheek to hers. "something on your mind?"
