Bio: Everyone knows the tale of Hades and Persephone. After they wed and Persephone came to the Underworld to be with her new husband, Hades, she became pregnant with his child. Hades named him Zagreus and intended him to be his heir but when he was born, Nemesis' jealousy took over. She had always longed to be Hades' queen and in her jealous rage she conspired to have their new son killed. She lured the boy away with toys and a mirror far from the palace to Tartarus, the prison that housed the terrible Titans. Nemesis placed young Zagreus within the Titans' cage and while he was distracted by his toys, they advanced from behind. In the mirror, the baby saw the Titans coming at him with hunger in their eyes and he transformed into a bird to fly away from their grasp. The Titans grabbed at Zagreus as he flew through the air, but he could not hold his form. He was too young to master his God-given power. He transformed into a snake, a goat, a lion, and finally a bull before the Titans caught him and tore him to pieces. They divided him up and consumed him, and while they argued over which one got to eat his still beating heart, Hades and Persephone stormed into the prison in search of their missing son. When Hades saw the bloody mess, he hurled a bolt of flame upon the Titans that turned them all to ash. Persephone grabbed her son's beating heart and with what power she retained as a Goddess of vegetation and through her love for her son she began to regenerate him. Since then, Zagreus has grown but is still within his adolescence as a God. He and his father don't see eye-to-eye very often and Zagreus considers the moment Hades killed the Titans to be the closest thing to love he's ever received from his father. He enjoys the mortal world to no end and continues to deny any claims that he will take the throne any time soon. The Underworld is just too boring.
